Bogumil Paints Recruiting Picture
Kyle Bogumil has yet to pick up his first offer, however the 6-foot-6, 225-pound tight end certainly has a solid list of interest parties at this point. After camping at two schools this summer he got a better feel for two of the programs recruiting him most vigorously and will now investigate new opportunities that have presented themselves over the last couple of months. "Things have been pretty quiet in August with the text messaging ban, however I have been hearing a lot lately from West Virginia, Louisville and Army," Bogumil said. "Both West Virginia and Louisville would be great to go to as they are qualities programs who always seem to be in the Top 25. I also camped at Boston College and Syracuse which were both great experiences." "When I went up to Syracuse I got to meet with all of the coaches who seemed to be great people and really said all of the right things," Bogumil explained. "I took a tour of the campus and facilities which were all beautiful and afterwards they invited me up for a home game this season which I plan on attending." "Boston College also really went well and I got a chance to work with their tight ends coach for the entire camp which was great," Bogumil explained. "Boston College was also extremely nice and I really liked the coaching staff that I came across, so they are definitely a program I have significant interest in at this point." As a junior at Crestwood High School, Bogumil was first team All-State Scholastic and honorable mention All-State as a tight end after catching 24 passes for 258 yards and a touchdown.
