Adams Selects USC

It's USC

Scout.com 4-star receiver Joe Adams is the No. 1 ranked player in Arkansas and just a few minutes ago he announced which school he would be attending via Fox16.com in Little Rock, Arkansas.

"I'm going to go with USC," said Adams as he put the Trojan hat on his head and committed to Pete Carroll.

As a junior, Adams racked up 882 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns and added 632 yards receiving with another 9 touchdowns, not to mention 590 return yards with a score.

All in all, Mr. Versatility accounted for 27 total touchdowns to lead North Little Rock-Central Arkansas Christian.

Adams, who is ranked No. 34 in the Scout.com Southeast 150, selected the Trojans over offers from some of the country's top programs.

He started out the evening with seven hats on the table as Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, USC, Arkansas, Florida and LSU were still in contention.

At 9:15 p.m., Adams eliminated Georgia, Michigan and Oklahoma leaving the Razorbacks, Trojans, Gators and Tigers still in the hunt.

Then shortly after 9:30 he put a USC hat on his head thus declaring the Trojans the winner.

Scout.com will have more on Adams' decision later tonight along with a photo gallery but for now USC fans can rejoice because they picked up one of the most electrifying prospects in the country.
