Baltimore, Md., product Sean Boyle camped at over a half a dozen schools this summer looking to get his name out there and has already secured two written scholarship offers going into his senior year. More programs could step forward with an impressive senior campaign and Boyle is definitely a young man that is up to the challenge.

Sean Boyle, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive guard from Calvert Hall College High School in Baltimore currently holds offers from Temple and Towson, but is being recruited by a handful of other schools including Maryland, Boston College, Clemson, Connecticut and Syracuse. These were all schools that he and his brother camped at together this summer, so Boyle took some time breaking down what he took away from each experience with us.

Temple - I think they have a good amount of energy with the new coaching staff and they are really searching high and low for the right kind of kids. I have been there twice and thought the campus was really nice and really felt like there was a family atmosphere there.”

Connecticut - “They had a good run camp and we got a lot of individual attention from the staff which was great from an instructional and person standpoint. The facilities and weight room were brand new and extremely impressive, however we did not get to tour the campus.”

Maryland - “Maryland was the only place that we actually got to hit as we wore helmets and shoulder pads, so that was a nice change of pace. It was definitely one of the best camps from an instructional perspective that I attended. I have followed the Terps my entire life and have alumni in my family, so they are obviously a school I am very interested in.”

Boston College - “We spent time doing a lot of agility drills and one-on-one work at Boston College and I liked it a lot there. You could definitely feel the family atmosphere surrounding the program and the campus really grabs you when you step foot on it.”

Many schools have expressed interest in seeing Boyle’s senior film, so do not expect a commitment out of him anytime soon.
