“I went to camp at Southern Mississippi this summer, and it was a good experience for me,” Justin Pritchard said. “I got to go against a lot of good athletes, and I believe it was a good learning experience.”
“We got cut short due to the weather. The lightning forced us in after about half a day, but it was fun. I worked at linebacker and got to see part of the campus. I didn’t get to see everything I wanted to see, but it was a good visit.”
Earlier in the summer Pritchard had reported Harvard, Yale, Nebraska, Southern Miss and Air Force as schools showing interest. He has a new school in the mix, and he shares his feelings about the school.
“Army has started recruiting me pretty hard,” he said. “They have invited me out for a visit this fall, and I am interested in taking the visit.”
The 5-11, 210-pound prospect hasn’t set up any official visits this season, and he reports his recruitment as, “wide open.”
Pritchard is focusing on the upcoming season, and McGill-Toolen is thought as one of the teams to beat in the South.
“We have most of our starters returning this season,” he said. “I think we’re going to be pretty good. I think we have a shot to win state this season.”
McGill-Toolen opens their season with UMS-Wright the 31st of August.
