Profile 2003 - Chris Yoder (OL)

Chris Yoder is a versatile offensive line prospect from the state of Texas. Yoder, from Hoston, has committed to LSU.

Chris Yoder is another very good offensive line prospect from the state of Texas and Yoder is committed and has been for a while.

"I committed to LSU at the end of my junior year," said Yoder, from Houston (Texas) Kingwood. "I am from New Orleans and just have always been a huge Tiger fan and followed them."

At LSU, he could play guard or center. Right now, the Tiger coaches have him slotted at center but that could change. Yoder, 6-3 and 285 pounds, played tackle as a sophomore and guard as a junior. This season, he is also playing guard.

"Being versatile and playing multiple positions has helped me be a better player. We ran a lot over the last two years. This season, we have a new quarterback that is pretty good so we are throwing more. This is going to help me."

LSU is off to a good start with OL commitments. Jerry Sevin (guard/ center) and Will Arnold (tackle) are also committed to the Tigers.
