"I committed to LSU at the end of my junior year," said Yoder, from Houston (Texas) Kingwood. "I am from New Orleans and just have always been a huge Tiger fan and followed them."
At LSU, he could play guard or center. Right now, the Tiger coaches have him slotted at center but that could change. Yoder, 6-3 and 285 pounds, played tackle as a sophomore and guard as a junior. This season, he is also playing guard.
"Being versatile and playing multiple positions has helped me be a better player. We ran a lot over the last two years. This season, we have a new quarterback that is pretty good so we are throwing more. This is going to help me."
