Jay Tolliver Profile "I'm going to show them that I am a real versatile player that can do a lot of things for a team," explained Tolliver. "I can help a team on offense or defense and can do a lot of things to help out a team." As a junior at Arlington-Mansfield Timberview, Tolliver rushed for 528 yards and scored a total of 14 touchdowns on offense. He received one early offer and now reports that there are two other schools he is hearing from. "I don't have any other offers except for Kansas," Tolliver said. "It's really Kansas, SMU and Arkansas that's all recruiting me right now." What does Tolliver like about each school that is expressing an interest? SMU—"That is the only one I really visited and I really liked their facilities and everything." Kansas—"Kansas doesn't get a lot of exposure on TV but one of the coaches over there used to coach me and I like that." Arkansas—"They use a lot of running backs and have talked about me playing kind of a mix of tailback and fullback. I like the way that sounds." Now that college coaches are back on the road evaluating prospects in person, Tolliver hopes to get a clear idea of which ones covet his skills but for now he is trying to stay even keeled. "I'm not really basing a decision on which college I like right now because none of them have really separated themselves from each other," he said. "I'm really just waiting to see what's happening and who really wants me to play for them."
