"I think I did pretty
well, but it is hard getting adjusted to defensive end," commented Marlon
Walls. "I have always played LB but I am getting at DE. It's not that
bad."
Marlon finished the game with a respectable 7 tackles, while
three of them came from behind the line of scrimmage.

Scouting
Report
As Marlon alluded to in his quote, he is just now getting
adjusted to playing defensive end, as he has played nothing but linebacker up
until two weeks ago when he transferred to Olive Branch.
Having said that,
Walls almost looks like a natural at defensive end due to his first step and body
build. He is long, looks to be in the 6' 3" to 6' 4" range by the naked
eye, and has very long arms and strong hands to fight off the offensive linemen.
We
were very impressed with Walls' quickness off of the ball and energy he brings
to his teammates. Marlon is already one of the leaders for a team that he has
only been a member for a couple of weeks.
We have been told by several
coaches, teachers, and players at Olive Branch that Walls is just as good of a
person as he is a football player. He is known to be a very high character kid.
We
have also learned that Marlon has a younger brother (freshman) that is currently
playing for Melrose that is a super stud.
