Eufaula Corner Takes Unofficial Visit

Kendrick Dennis is a 5-11, 170-pound cornerback from Eufaula, (Ala.), and he has caught the eye of several recruiters around the South. He shares the latest with ScoutSouth.com.

"I'm still waiting on my first offer," Kendrick Dennis said. "I'm receiving interest from Memphis, Louisville, Kentucky, FSU, UAB, Troy, Georgia Tech and Alabama State."

Dennis took an unofficial visit to Memphis to take in the Tigers' season opener with Ole Miss. He talks of his experience.

"I really liked Memphis a lot," he said. "I got to stand on the sideline before the game started and watch both teams warm up. That was fun."

"Memphis lost by two points, but I still enjoyed my visit. I got to experience the atmosphere during the game, and I also got to see some of the campus and facilities while I was there."

"Both teams passed some hard licks during the game. It was a good game coming down to the end."

While Dennis admitted Memphis moved toward the top of his list with the visit he plans to visit other schools in the weeks ahead.

"I have been invited to Alabama State September 22nd, and I’m going to go over there to watch the game and visit. I also plan to attend games at Troy, Georgia Tech and another Memphis game this season," Kendrick stated.

Dennis will also have several visitors in Eufaula to watch him play.

"UAB, Kentucky, Alabama State, Troy and Memphis are all going to come watch me play this season, but I don’t know which games any of them are planning to come to," Dennis explained.
