Canton, Ohio -- The Cardinal Mooney buzzsaw zipped through the Gateway Gators at the Herbstreit Challenge and one of the big reason's why was the play of Michael Zordich. Scout.com caught up with Zordich and teammate Brandon beachum after the game.

Michael Zordich proved at the Herbstreit Challenge that he deserves to be mentioned with the top prospects in the state of Ohio. The talented Cardinal Mooney linebacker put on a clinic and led his team to a win.

Mooney won despite losing starting tailback Brandon Beachum very early in the first quarter. Scout.com spoke with the future Penn State Nittany Lions after their big victory.
