Jordan Free went into his senior campaign with an offer from Northwestern State and Central Arkansas…
Free Continues To Impress
That is what seems to be the case with Baton Rouge (La.) Parkview Baptist offensive lineman Jordan Free. Free is a 6-3, 283-pounder who plays every position on Parkview's line. Parkview head coach Kenny Guillot knows how tough it is to find a kid that is that versatile so when he looks at Free's offer list he can't help but scratch his head. "Central Arkansas and Northwestern State are still the only ones that have offered," said Jordan's father, Troy. "It's blown my mind and Kenny Guillot's too these other schools don't have him higher on the board. Everybody says he's an SEC-type lineman and some even say that he's the best offensive lineman we've got." Free is currently getting interest from several small schools but also from the likes of LSU, Ole Miss, Memphis, Purdue and Stanford to name a few. Troy said that most of the coaches are saying the same thing but they have not said the one thing he is waiting to hear. "They all say that they want him and how good he is but they haven't offered," said Troy. This past Friday, Parkview played Mamou and there was a special visitor on campus in the form of LSU offensive line coach Greg Studawara. "He looked at Jordan's film before the game and he said he looks very, very good," explained Troy. "They told him they have one or two spots left so we're not sure what that means." Note: Scout.com will have senior footage on Jordan along with LSU commitment Clay Spencer later this week so be sure to check back and you can see for yourself just how good Jordan and the Parkview Baptist offensive line is.
