Texas cornerback David Whitmore basically burst on to the recruiting scene out of nowhere when he made a verbal commitment to sign with Nebraska. In this feature we take a look at Whitmore in action from his junior season, and it easy to see that he has the talent to be successful on the next level.

David Whitmore, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound, defensive back from Memorial High in Port Arthur, Texas had an impressive junior campaign, recording almost 40 solo tackles, 13 pass break-ups and two interceptions.

Whitmore has all of the skills of a top flight defensive back. He has great hips and is able to break on the ball in an instant.
