Rob Lohr Media Gallery traveled to Phoenixville, Pa., on Thursday night to watch the Phoenixville Phantoms host the St. Pius X Winged Lions in what would ultimately be a blowout for the home team. Standing out amongst all the players on the field was Vanderbilt commitment Rob Lohr, a player who would have a future at tight end or defensive end at the next level.

Rob Lohr played the entire first half, but was taken out after the first series of the second half as his team cruised to a 52-7 win on Thursday over St. Pius X High School. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound athlete was extremely productive in that short time, collecting four quarterback sacks, two tackles for loss, a batted pass and a pass deflection from his defensive end position. He also caught three passes for 80 yards and a touchdown on offense, including a 49-yard reception that nearly gave him his second score.

Below is a video interview with Lohr after the game and some photos of him during it:

St. Pius X ran a lot of option all night and Lohr did an absolutely excellent job playing intelligent football and keeping contain all night long.

Lohr had six tackles in the game, all six of which were on the opposing teams' line of scrimmage and was a force all night up front for Phoenixville.

The Phantoms ran to the sideline and raised their helmets to the crowd and band as the school's fight song was played after a 52-7 win.

After Phoenixville got off to a slow start with the passing game in their first game of the season Lohr has caught eight passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns in his last three games. He chose Vanderbilt over Syracuse and Temple earlier this summer. Recommended Stories
