We continue to pump out highlights and feature articles on Clarksville, Md., athlete Michael Campanaro, but as the old adage goes, you can never have too much of a good thing. Fresh off a five touchdown performance against Hammond High School, here are highlights of Campanaro’s first three outings of the season.

River Hill High School is off to a 4-0 start and has outscored their opponents 184-0 so far this season and Michael Campanaro is leading the way in the scoring category, having touched pay dirt 16 times already this season. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound athlete is currently being recruited by Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Maryland, Boston College, Illinois, Rutgers and Connecticut and holds written offers from Northwestern and Akron.

In four games Campanaro has carried 41 times for 601 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also has thrown for a 75-yard touchdown, caught two touchdown passes and returned two punts 87 and 50 yards for scores. With a gaudy average of 15 yards per carry and a touchdown every four rushes, Campanaro is simply a scoring machine this season for River Hill.
