It has yet to be determined if Clinton Sharpe-Granger will play quarterback or linebacker at the collegiate level, however the George Washington High School product is simply trying to nail down his first scholarship offer at this point. After spending time talking to Connecticut, Penn State and Temple this summer the 6-foot-2, 238-pound athlete now has a new set of schools calling on him. “I really don’t hear from those three schools much anymore,” Sharpe-Granger said. “I think Boston College is the school sending me the most mail right now of everyone and I am hoping to see a game up there sometime soon.” “Toledo and Kent State have already sent tickets and invited me out to games and the coaches at Colorado are evaluating my initial film now and have requested more so they can see how much they like me. I just started playing defense last weekend and had six tackles with a few coming for loss, so we’ll see how the rest of the season goes.” Washington runs a Wing-T offense and has been utilizing roughly a dozen running backs a game, so passing opportunities are few and far between, but Sharpe-Granger has managed to throw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns so far this season. |
