Middletown head coach Ron Johnson knows college football talent having
been a college coach at Miami Ohio before returning to the high school
ranks. The past couple of seasons
the Middies have enjoyed having two very big offensive linemen providing the
physical play needed to open holes and protect the quarterback. On Tuesday Coach Johnson informed media
sources that Chip Robinson and Blaec Walker will remain teammates next fall at
Bowling Green.
Robinson is a four year starter for the Middies who saw early interest
from several programs. At 6-foot-5
Robinson has seen his weight range from 370-pounds down to the 340-pound
range. He projects as a guard and
shows above average feet for a player his size.
Walker
has started since his sophomore season at both guard and tackle earning
all-conference honors in the process.
On film Walker shows great feet and nice extension in his pass blocking
skills. At 6-foot-5, 320-pounds
Walker moves very well and could have seen his offer list grown as his senior
season continued.
Both
players come from a program that plays at a high level and should be solid
prospects for the Bowling Green program.
