Hall On The Verge of Setting Second Visit
Rashard Hall Profile St. Augustine has come out of the gate roaring and head into this weekend undefeated. "We have only had four games so far," said Hall. "I have six touchdowns, four interceptions and about 20 tackles. I have been able to play on both sides of the ball and I love doing that. I am playing well, but most imporantly our team is playing well." Later this month Hall will take an official visit to Louisville, but he may be able to squeeze in another next weekend. "I am trying to get over to Mississippi State on the 13th," said Rashard. "Brandon Whitty and I are trying to get in there for a visit that weekend. It would be an official visit, but I haven't talked with Coach Turner this week yet. I am not sure if we're going to have time to get everything set up for that weekend, but we're trying." Several schools have been in contact with Rashard by telephone in the last few weeks. A handful of schools maintain regular weekly contact. "Clemson, West Virginia, Louisville, Mississippi State, Ball State and Middle Tennessee have been calling," said Rashard. "They all let me know that they want me in their program and they keep me updated with what they are doing. I keep them updated on how my team is doing." Not long after the season started, the talented two-way standout picked up two more scholarship offers. "I have new offers from FAMU and Southern Mississippi," said Hall. "Like the rest of the schools they are talking about me playing safety. I would really like to play receiver. I am going to send some of my senior video off at the end of the week and see if I can't change their minds into lettting me play reciever." Rashard is still expecting to receive a few more offers, but he has put together a rough pecking order of the schools who appear to be the most interested. "I have a top five of the schools that have offered me," said Hall. "I think in the next month or so I will have received all of the offers I am expecting. Right now though I would say my top five from the schools that have offered are West Virginia, Mississippi State, Louisville, Maryland and Ball State." The Floridian had considered making a decision during the season, but it appears that time frame is going to change. "My decision will more than likely come after the season," said Rashard. "I want to get the chance to see everything and I will only have one and possibly two official visits before the season is over. I want to see the other schools before I make a commitment, so it will probably be after the season before I know where I am going."
