Pantale Still Focused On Three
Michigan, Boston College and Virginia have been the three schools that Wayne Valley High School tight end Chris Pantale has been highest on for months now and after speaking with him recently we found that not much has changed on that front. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound athlete is in no rush to make a decision however, and probably will not take any visits until after his senior season. "I will probably start taking official visits after the season," Pantale said. "Right now I am thinking that Michigan, Boston College and Virginia will be the three schools I visit and I haven't figured out if I will go anywhere else at this point. It's obviously very tough for me to separate any of the three without being on campus, so now I just need to get out to each place and see how it feels." Since Pantale has not visited any of those three schools so far, we talked about how their seasons have progressed with him. "I have watched a lot of Michigan and Boston College, but Virginia doesn't come on the television much here in New Jersey, so it has been tough to see them," Pantale explained. "Michigan obviously started out very slow, but I was impressed with the big win against Penn State and think they have shown a lot of character as a team by overcoming that tough start and putting their season back together." "Boston College is also doing terrific," Pantale added. "They are undefeated so far and look to be really clicking on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball." Pantale and Wayne Valley are also clicking this season, starting off with a 4-0 record leading into a big game against rival Passaic Valley on Friday night. So far this season he has recorded 30 tackles and six sacks from his defensive end position and caught 11 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns as a tight end. Pantale also holds written offers from Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan State, UCLA, Northwestern, North Carolina State, Cincinnati and Syracuse.
