Two Visits On Tap For Clarke

Two-star offensive lineman Brian Clarke still has not picked up his first written scholarship offer, however three programs have been showing him a lot of interest lately and have requested senior film on the Wilkes Barre, Pa., native. Over the next two weeks he will visit two of those programs which he talked about with us recently.

Hanover Area High School has shown a tendency to let up the big play this season, but have a solid record overall at 4-2 entering this weekend. Offensive guard Brian Clarke is one of the reasons for that success and right now Penn State, Buffalo and Connecticut seem to be most interested in the 6-foot-3, 280-pound interior lineman.

“Buffalo has really started to recruit me hard lately,” Clarke said. “I am going for their game in two weeks and really like Coach Lee Chambers. He calls me every Thursday to wish me luck for the upcoming game which I think is pretty cool.”

“I’m also going to Penn State this weekend to watch them play Wisconsin with some friends and family,” Clarke explained. “I’m just excited to be going up there for such a big game and talk to Coach (Dick) Anderson once in a while. They just requested my senior film as did Connecticut.”

Clarke is also being recruited by Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Temple.
