Jared Hill, a 6-foot-5, 240-pound athlete from Scranton, Pa., could end up playing tight end, defensive end or on the offensive line in college, but first he needs to find a school that wants to bring him into the mix. Recently, most of his interest has come from Ivy League schools like Penn, Princeton, Columbia and Dartmouth who have all invited him out for games, but some larger programs are still in it as well. “Coach Hank Hughes from Connecticut was by the school recently to check it with me and give me a blank tape to put my senior film on for him,” Hill said. “I am guessing that they like me on defense, but no one has said anything to me, so I’m not certain. They did invite me up for a game, but we always play on Saturday, so it is going to be tough to make one before the end of the season.” “Two other schools that have requested my senior film have been West Virginia and Boston College, so I will be getting it out to them too to see what they think.” Hill reports a 3.9 GPA and scored an 1130 on his SAT. |
