Autry has lined up at running back, linebacker and strong safety this year and he is capable of making plays from any of those positions.
"I am a hard nosed football player," said Autry. "I give it all I have and I never give up. I love playing offense and defense about the same. I just always try my best."
Arsenio's best may soon prove good enough. College recruiters have been staying in regular contact with the south Mississippi standout.
"I don't have any offers yet, but I have been talking with Southern (Miss), Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Auburn," said Autry. "All of them have called, but Mississippi State calls me pretty much every week."
The talented two-way standout is being recruited from Mississippi State by Coach David Turner.
"Coach Turner calls to check in on me," said Arsenio. "He talks to me about school and he asks me if I am interested in going to Mississippi State. We talk about school and football mainly."
At one time or another, Arsenio has had the chance this year to visit Mississippi's "Big" Three.
"I visited Ole Miss on a visit a while back and I go to almost all of Southern's home games," said Arsenio. "I haven't visited Auburn or Mississippi State yet, but I did go to Mississippi State's camp this summer."
The 6-1,216 pounder is open to the possibilities and believes that once he gets his ACT score in that his college offers will soon follow.
