Frederick, Md., product Dominic Clarke is playing his first year at the varsity level, however you wouldn't know it given his production so far this season. This ball carrier is being recruited by a number of programs at this point and received a special visit from a Big East program last week at his high school.

Dominic Clarke, a 5-foot-10, 168-pound running back from Tuscarora High School is off to a great start this season and has had two straight solid games at this point, carrying 16 times for 93 yards against Thomas Johnson High School two weeks ago and 20 times for 220 yards and two touchdowns against Walkersville High School this past weekend. He also had a visit from Connecticut at his school on Friday and is expecting another from one of their coaches soon.

"Someone was in from Connecticut on Friday and told me that Coach Rob Ambrose had sent them down to meet with me," Clarke explained. "We met just before the pep rally, so there wasn't much time to talk, but he told me that Coach Ambrose would be making a personal visit for one of my games this year. I know from the mail they send me that they have brand new facilities that are very nice and look forward to learning more about them. I also know that they only have one loss on the season at this point."

Clarke has been hearing a lot from Syracuse, Purdue and North Carolina lately and also is in contact with Duke, East Carolina, Rutgers, Florida and Virginia Tech.
