All American Gallery: Brendan Beal
Posted Oct 20, 2007
Bethlehem Liberty cruised to a 49-0 win over Nazareth High School on Friday night while most other games in the area were rained out, however tonight was special for the Hurricane family as one of their own was honored as an Army All-American in linebacker Brendan Beal. We spoke with Beal after the game about being selected and he was definitely very jovial.
On Friday night
became one of forty players on the East Coast to be selected to play in the Army All-American game in San Antonio, Texas this year. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound strong side linebacker showed his excitement by posting seven tackles, three tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in just over a quarter of play in a blowout win and spoke with us after the game as we ran for shelter in a torrential downpour.
As you can see at the end of the video, things were fun in Bethlehem, Pa., tonight.

Even Beal’s father Craig, a former
linebacker was getting in on the fun, sporting a
sweatshirt, his son’s final three schools.

Beal, the 34th ranked player in the nation will most likely be making his decision public this week.
