"I don't really have any favorites yet," Edwards said. "I really just want to feel at home and be a part of the family wherever I go."
The only official visit Edwards has already scheduled is to Missouri on Oct. 26. "I love the coaching staff there," he said. "All the people are great and I have a good relationship with (linebacker) coach Dave Steckel. He treats me like a friend and I feel like I could talk to him about anything.
"Missouri had a big win over Texas Tech this weekend," said Scput.com's No. 39 cornerback. "They almost beat Oklahoma too. They probably should have won that game, but you can't win if you turn the ball over five times unless you're the Dallas Cowboys."
"I really like the tradition at Iowa," he said. "They put a lot of guys from the secondary into the league and have great tradition, especially at defense.
"Wisconsin has a great defense too and they are always a pretty solid team," he said. "The coaches know what they are doing and I think I'd be able to fit in well there."
Edwards says he thinks he'd be able to play early at Louisville. "They really need defensive backs and I think I could play early there," he said. "They call me every week and seem to really like me. They said that I'd be able to make an immediate impact there."
He reports a 3.3 core GPA and is awaiting his Sept. 15 ACT results.
