Moorpark (Calif.) quarterback Adam Barry (6-2, 200) had been offerless a lot longer than he expected but just received some good news.
"Adam got an offer from Wyoming a little while ago," said his mother Kristin. "They said they've got offers out to two other quarterbacks."
The offer for Barry is the first one, but several other schools have been showing interest in him and he's got reciprocal interest in them.
Nevada is one of the primary schools that Barry has been in contact with, having camped out there in the summer and staying in contact with coach Scott Baumgartner.
Through seven games, Barry is averaging 229 yards a game passing with 10 touchdowns against three interceptions and has rushed for three touchdowns.
A year ago in a ground oriented offense, Barry threw for 1,553 yards and 16 touchdown passes in leading the Musketeers to the finals of the CIF-SS Northern Division. He also ran for a pair of touchdowns.
