Carpenteria (Calif.) linebacker Eric Stein is one of the leading tacklers in the Southland, having recorded 88 tackles through seven games to go with eight sacks, two fumble recoveries and a blocked field goal. Stein is also doing it on offense, having caught 26 passes for 477 yards and three touchdowns.
