Quinn Seeking First Offer

Quinn Seeking First Offer

Brockport, N.Y., signal caller Kevin Quinn did his best this season to show college recruiters that he is worthy of a scholarship, leading a young team in a talented conference to a 4-4 record. So far he has not picked up that first offer, but several programs are showing interest and things could change for him soon.

Kevin Quinn, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound quarterback from Brockport High School in Brockport, N.Y., is currently being recruited by Hofstra, Buffalo, Temple, Syracuse, Toledo and Tulane and has sent senior film out recently to show those programs what he can do with the ball in his hands. We caught up with the senior recently to talk about his progress.

"Right now those schools all wanted to see my senior film, so I sent it out to them to evaluate and am just waiting to hear back," Quinn explained. "The schools that have reviewed the film have already invited me out for visits, so I am going to try to get out and meet with them soon."

"Right now I think Hofstra is pretty close to offering which is good because I was down there this summer and thought it was a good fit with their coaching staff and the facilities that they have," Quinn added. "Temple and Buffalo are the other schools that I feel I have a good shot with right now."

Quinn camped at Hofstra, Temple, Syracuse and Buffalo this summer and is currently talking to Tulane about setting up an official visit to the school.

He carries a 3.0 core GPA and scored a 1040 on his two-part SAT and 20 on his ACT.
