Corbin Brown (6-0, 170), the three-star safety from Las Vegas (Nev.) Spring Valley, had committed to Hawaii last month.
But Brown and Hawaii have discussed his recruitment and Brown has reopened his own recruitment and decommitted from Hawaii.
“They remain on his list as a school of interest,” said his dad Greg. “We don’t want to totally shut the door on them.”
Brown had also been offered by Wisconsin in the spring and the Badgers remain one of his options.
Boston College, Boise State, Nevada and Oregon State are also some of the other schools that Brown is considering.
Brown is on pace for his third straight 100-tackle season.
