Clint Floyd, the three-star cornerback from Los Angeles (Calif.) Crenshaw, who's been a do-it-all player for the Cougars this year, made his commitment on Sunday.
"I committed to Arizona State," said Floyd, who was in Tempe on an unofficial visit. "I'm ASU all the way baby."
The Sun Devils were the first ones to offer Floyd, doing so in the summer, and a Crenshaw connection paid off.
Recruiting Floyd is Crenshaw alum Eric Yarber, who now coaches the Sun Devils receivers and he had been focusing on Floyd for some time. So on Sunday, Floyd knew it was time.
"I'm real excited," said Floyd, who will play receiver for the Sun Devils.
Floyd was one of two Crenshaw players to commit to the Sun Devils this weekend, joining teammate Kemonte Bateman.
