Morro Bay (Calif.) defensive end Jerome Long is quickly working his way onto recruiting boards, having gotten off to a strong start to the 2007 season.

Long has caught four passes for 77 yards on offense and has 52 tackles with 3.5 sacks and a blocked punt. Last weekend, he had 14 tackles and six for loss in a win over Cabrillo of Lompoc.
