Bethlehem, Pa., was the site tonight as the Easton Red Rovers were taking on Bethlehem Catholic in what was to be a game that really came down to the wire. Bethlehem Catholic tried to pull off a Boise State-esque play from their own twenty yard line to get the win, but Easton stopped them and won the game by a score of 28-24.

After four games of playing quarterback, Jarred Holley was back to his normal duties as a wide receiver and running back on offense on Friday night and the 5-foot-9, 170-pound athlete did not disappoint, scoring one touchdown on the ground and catching multiple passes for first downs. Holley has now officially narrowed his schools down to Pittsburgh, Iowa, Virginia, Penn State, Michigan and Stanford and will start taking his official visits after the season ends.

Holley had a solid game at running back, wide receiver and cornerback and before watching an interview we took with him after the game you can check out a great catch he made on the sideline, taking a certain Scout.com Recruiting Analyst’s ankle out in the process.

During halftime we made it a point to stop out at the Holley Trolley where cold refreshments and food were being served up as the Holley crew seemed to be in full attendance for this important showdown.



Easton clinched a playoff berth with their win tonight.
