OL Talks About Commitment

Mike Goodman is one of the top offensive line prospects in the state of Florida this year and the Miami (Columbus) standout talked about the commitment he made today.

"I committed to Boston College," Mike Goodman said. "I came up here this weekend for an unofficial visit and I loved everything."

Goodman, 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds, said there are a lot of reasons why he picked the Eagles.

"After I came up here on an unofficial visit during the summer, I was really thinking this was going to be the best choice for me," he said. "This weekend, I wanted to go ahead and commit. Boston College is a great school academically and that was always going to be the most important part for me. Plus, they have a good football program with good coaches."

Goodman said he's finished with the recruiting process now.

"I'm done with everything," he said. "I'm not considering anyone else. I'll take only one official visit and that will be back up here to BC. I'm very excited about it."

Goodman chose the Eagles over Miami, Wisconsin, Wake Forest, Florida State, and others.
