"I am getting letters from Ole Miss and Mississippi State," said Harper. "I am also interested in Southern Miss, Kentucky and Auburn."
One of the talented running backs goals has been to one day play in the Southeastern Conference.
"I like everything about the SEC," said Jordan. "I like the fans and everything. I just like everything."
Harper has some family ties to another program in the south, but this program is of the SWAC variety. Jordan's cousin and former Clinton Arrow Amonte Harper is currently a freshman at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Harper stands out on the field for his passion and his hard nosed style of play, but Jordan believes his best attributes cannont be quantified by statistics.
"I try to show good leadership and good sportsmanship on the field all the time," said Jordan.
The 5-10, 180 pounder will take in some high profile games over the course of the next two weekends.
"I am going to the Mississippi State game with Alabama this Saturday and then I am going to the Ole Miss game with LSU the next week," said Harper.
