Boucher Could Be Closing On Offer

New Hampshire isn’t necessarily a hotbed for college football recruiting, however signal caller Tanner Boucher may be one player that ends up being a late bloomer and finds himself with a college scholarship or two come signing day in February. We spoke with him recently to talk about his recruiting so far and found that quite a few programs are showing significant interest.

Tanner Boucher, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound quarterback from Keene High School in Keene, N.H., has the size to play at the next level and reports a 4.56 in the 40-yard dash, a combination that college recruiters are sure to notice. So far a few programs have been showing him serious interest and it sounds like one of the service academies could be close to an offer.

“I am going to see Army play on Friday and they have already sent me all of the paperwork to start the application process for West Point,” Boucher explained. “I think they could be close to offering me a scholarship and at this point I need to spend time thinking about whether or not that lifestyle is something I want to pursue, so I think this visit will help me do that. Other schools that are showing me interest now are Duke, Syracuse, Boston College, Albany, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.”
