The staple of Phoenix (AZ) Brophy Prep’s offense over the past three years has been the quarterbacking of Bryan Berens. He has led Brophy to three region titles and one state championship and is currently in the hunt for a second.
This year for the 8-2 Broncos, Berens has been spectacular. He has completed 60% of his passes, thrown for 1,634 yards, 20 touchdowns versus 9 INTs and has added three rushing TDs.
Berens has broken nearly of all of Brophy’s all-time QB marks, including career yards and career touchdowns.
The 6-2 210 pounder holds an offer from Harvard and is also hearing from Brown, Washington, Northwestern, Fresno State, Colorado State, Boise State and UTEP.
