Scout TV: Reuben Johnson

Scout.com traveled to Atco, N.J., on Wednesday to watch Brandon Jones, Damon Julian, Tyrone McBride, Steve Pease, Reuben Johnson, Keith Robinson and the rest of the Winslow Township Eagles prepare for the upcoming playoff game. During the visit we were allowed full access to the team by Head Coach Michael McBride and came away with several interviews with their prospects.

Reuben Johnson currently holds offers from Tennessee, Connecticut, Syracuse, Iowa, Boston College, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Akron, Temple and Minnesota and could have more on the way very soon. After watching the 5-foot-9, 175-pound cornerback in person it seemed that he could make a big jump in the Scout.com rankings as he is an excellent corner in both press and zone coverage, showing very good speed and ball skills. He spoke with us Wednesday about the schools looking at him and afterwards mentioned that if West Virginia were to offer, they would also be a school he would be very interested in.
