Long Beach (Calif.) Poly safety Herman Davidson has been on the rise ever since a dominating performance on the Kirk Herbstreit Challenge in Cincinnati. Davidson and teammate Vaughn Telemaque have formed one of the strongest safety tandems in the country.
A relative unknown before the season started, Davidson added his third offer on Wednesday, this one coming from the SEC.
"I got an offer from Ole Miss," said Davidson, a three-star safety.
The offer from the Rebels joins offers from San Diego State and North Carolina. Davidson visited Chapel Hill earlier this month and will take his next official visit this weekend.
"I'm going up to Michigan right after our game," said Davidson. "Me and Vaughn are going up there. I can't wait."
Davidson said he'd likely take a trip to Ole Miss after the season.
This weekend, Poly will host a playoff contest with Santa Margarita.
