Michael Ford
Ford (5-10, 205, 4.5) put up some big numbers from his running back spot as a sophomore but his junior season was cut short when he broke his collarbone on the Wampus Cats' first offensive play in week three.
Despite the painful injury, he played the entire game before his coaches realized the severity of it.
Ford did return for the first round of the state playoffs and in four games he finished with 567 yards and 4 touchdowns rushing while averaging over 7 yards a carry.
Here are a couple of minutes of the Leesville (La.) product in action from the 2007 campaign and keep in mind that the final three clips on the second set of highlights is after he suffered the injury.
