Chestang talks about coaching change at OM

Josh Chestang (LB, Moss Point, MS) - Josh is getting ready for the South State Class 4A championship game on Friday but he has another issue at hand.

"I just got off the phone yesterday with Coach (Tony) Hughes," added Josh Chestang. "He told me to take care of my business, finish the season out and then worry about Ole Miss. He also told me that if some other school calls, talk to them, but that my offer was still on the table and that they have not lost any interest in me."

What are Josh's feelings towards Ole Miss now?

"Right now, I am just focused on a state championship, and when that is done, I will focus on the coaching change at Ole Miss. The interest is still there. I am still committed, and the offer is still there for me. I have not lost any interest in Ole Miss at all."

What does he want to see Ole Miss do from here on out?

"I just hope that Coach Nutt does want a whole new staff. If that happens, then that will change my mind. I want to get to know Coach Nutt like I knew Coach Orgeron. We were on the same track. We were cool like that."
