The Army All-American is wanted by just about every major program in the
country.
He has already taken three official visits to Oregon (9/28), Arizona
State (10/28), and Arizona (11/3).
Who will receive visit number four and
number five go to?
"My next visit will be to Oregon State or UCLA,"
added Robert
Golden.
Which colleges are the most consistent with the 5' 11",
185 pound corner?
"Oregon State is in constant contact with me. They
text me like every day. Arizona is a lot too and Oregon is too."
Are
there anymore colleges in the picture?
"That is it right now. Those
are my top schools."
What stands out with Oregon?
"I love
the way their coaches keep in touch. Their head coach is the only head coach who
calls me every week. He stays in touch with me, shows me how badly he wants me."
What
are Arizona's positives?
"I like how they play ball. I also like how
Oregon State plays. Oregon State plays a lot of press, and I like to press. And
Arizona was the first school to start recruiting me. They started recruiting me
in 10th grade. They have been with me from day one. And Coach Stoops is known
to put defensive backs in the league."
And UCLA?
"Coach
Dwayne Walker, I have known him for a while, long time. I have known him since
he coached with the Redskins and I was going to his DB camp he hosted in LA. I
have been knowing Coach Walker for a long time. Playing for him would give me
a chance to play at the next level because he has a lot of NFL contacts."
Where
does his home town school, Fresno State, stand?
"I am considering
going there because it is the home town school and me and Patt Hill are close.
I will consider them if I decide to stay close to home. They will be in it for
me all the way until I sign. You never know what is going to happen until it is
time to sign your name on that dotted line. They will be in it until the end."
One
of the colleges he had actually set up an official visit to has been scratched
off of his list.
"I had set up a visit with Ole Miss two weekends
back, but my mother said it was too far from home. They want me to stay out here,
so I decided to go ahead and eliminate them."
Robert reports a 3.1
Core GPA/860 SAT.
