The Ohio State Buckeyes definitely needed to land a defensive tackle in the 2008 recruiting class after missing out on a couple of top targets in 2007, and they snagged one of the best in the country when Garrett Goebel issued a commitment. In this feature we take a look at Goebel’s senior highlights.

Garrett Goebel, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound defensive lineman from Montini Catholic High in Lombard, Illi., racked up 68 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, eight sacks, forced three fumbles, and batted down five passes as a senior in 2007.
