Rashard Hall Profile
"We had Godby this week," said Rashard. "I didn't think we were going to beat them as bad as we did. It was a real good win for us."
Rashard was one of the top play makers for the Yellow Jackets in the quarterfinal win.
"I played well," said Hall. "I had six or seven receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown and I had an interception."
Most schools are recruiting Hall as a defensive back, but a pair of SEC schools are now talking about Rashard getting a shot at catching passes rather than breaking them up.
"South Carolina and Mississippi State are talking about giving me the chance to play receiver," said Rashard. "Mississippi State has extended my offer to cover playing receiver too. Coach (Steve) Spurrier Jr. wants me to play wide receiver, but they haven't offered yet. I don't know what the deal is with that."
Rashard had his first in home visit this past week when the Bulldogs rolled into town.
"I had Mississippi State come through on Wednesday," said Hall. "Coach Croom came by with my recruiting coach David Turner. It was cool. They talked to me about going up there and about taking an official visit up there."
Having already visited Louisville, Hall's visit to Starkville will be his third official visit.
"I am visiting Mississippi State on January 18th," said Rashard. "I am going to Clemson on the 11th of January. I may go to South Florida for a visit, but I am not sure. They were talking about me coming on the 25th."
Rashard is unsure of he will use all five visits, but he is expecting several more in home visits. Hall is expecting an in person visit from Coach Mark Nelson of Louisville later this week.
