McClain Cancels Visit to FSU, Alabama on Deck
"I didn't go to Florida State this weekend," said Antoine McClain. "I didn't get everything into the Clearinghouse in enough time. I was supposed to get it in by 5:30 last Friday, but I ran out of time. I haven't spoken to any of the Florida State coaches to see about re-scheduling the visit." "This weekend I am taking an official visit to Alabama. I know for sure I am going down to Alabama this weekend. I don't have anything else scheduled." McClain received an in-home visit Sunday night from Auburn. The visit left the family impressed. "Coach [Hugh] Nall left my house earlier tonight," he said. "The visit went really good. He is very honest with me. He talked to my grandmother and my mom." "He just said what they have been saying since last year. He said the right tackle spot is open, and I have a chance to get a good education at Auburn." "I really like coach Nall. We have a good relationship. My mom loves him. She likes Auburn a lot because they have been recruiting me since my ninth grade year." The heavily recruited lineman expects several more visitors this week as he added, "Both Georgia and Alabama are coming tomorrow. Coach [Rodney] Garner is coming from Georgia. Coach [Nick] Saban and coach [Major] Applewhite are coming from Alabama. Tennessee is supposed to visit Tuesday, and Thursday LSU is coming to visit."
