Poston Closing on Two Offers

Horsham, Pa., product Travis Poston has been holding a written scholarship offer from the Temple Owls for a long time now and could be on the verge of picking up two more offers from Division I-AA programs. After finishing his senior season with a 9-3 record and district playoff loss to Downingtown West the offensive lineman will now turn his attention to visits.

Hatboro-Horsham High School offensive tackle Travis Poston holds a scholarship offer from Temple and should be picking up two more from Massachusetts and Villanova within the next few weeks. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive tackle will be taking his first official visit this weekend and is still talking to a few other programs.

“I’m going to be taking an official visit to Villanova this weekend,” Poston said. “The coaches are coming into the house tonight (Wednesday) and said they are going to offer me when I come down on Saturday. I have been to a few games this year and really liked the campus and academic side of things there.”

“I am definitely still considering Temple as well and like them a lot, so I have to get a date scheduled with the staff,” Poston explained. “I have also been talking to Rutgers and Boston College, but I think Rutgers is the one that I have the better chance with at this point.”

Massachusetts has also invited Poston up for an official visit where they would like to offer him in person.
