Harper Re-opens Recruiting

In talking to two-star linebacker Elliott Harper from Chandler (AZ) Hamilton, Scout.com has learned that he is no longer committed to Nevada.

Harper committed to Nevada this summer but recently said, "I wanted to let you know that I am re-opening my recruiting and that I am no longer committed to Nevada."

Reason being, "They called me and told me that it's best that I re-open my recruiting because they are changing their defense and now they are not in need of linebackers."

Northern Arizona previously offered the 6-1 230 pounder and he listes Arizona, Arizona State, Fresno State, Colorado State, Utah, UNLV and San Diego State as other schools of interest.

Harper helped Hamilton to a 12-1 record while recording 92 tackles and being named 2nd team all region.
