Boise (Idaho) Centennial offensive lineman Jake Densley took an official visit to nearby Boise State…
Pemasa Is Seeing Red
Orange (Calif.) Lutheran RB/LB Ricky Pemasa (5-11, 215), took his first official visit this past weekend, to Fresno State, and before he left to head back to the O.C., he gave the Bulldog coaches the good news. "I committed before I left," said Pemasa. "They told me they want me to replace Marcus Riley at linebacker, because that's where they see me playing." Pemasa, in fact, got to see Riley up close and personal, as he was Pemasa's host on the trip. "He is a really cool person. I liked all of the players I met and all of the coaches. I talked with Logan Harrell (from Santa Margarita, one of OLu's Trinity League rivals) and told him to come up there too," said Pemasa. Pemasa said the Fresno State coaching staff was a big part of his decision to commit, and the proximity to home didn't hurt. "It's cool because it's still close to home but far enough away," said Pemasa. "And yeah, I'll get to play at the Rose Bowl next year (for Fresno State's opener with UCLA)." Pemasa has also been offered by Utah and Boise State offered him this weekend. He's also being courted by Oregon and said he's possibly taking visits next month. "I still might take trips to those places. Oregon said they could be close to offering me and Boise State offered me this weekend," said Pemasa. "But I'm a Bulldog." Pemasa was a big part of the Lancers state championship team in 2006 and their Trinity League champion squad this season. He rushed for 756 yards on 111 carries and scored 12 touchdowns and had 15 receptions for 242 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, he had 102 tackles and 14 sacks, two picks and two fumble recoveries.
