City College of San Francisco punter Phillip Zavala celebrated with his Rams teammates as they won the 2007 California State JC Football Championship and ultimately, the JC National Championship.
Zavala also has more reason to be happy, with two schools having offered him scholarships.
"Phillip has offers from Boston College and San Jose State," said Chris Sailer of Chris Sailer Kicking, who ranks Zavala as his #3 punter nationally.
Sailer said that Zavala consistently is in the 5.0+ range on hang time.
"Philip is a dominating punter," said Sailer. "He has the size, strength and consistency to be a great D-I punter."
