Carpinteria (Calif.) athlete Eric Stein has set up two visits for the month of January.
"I have an offer from Navy and a visit set for January 26," said Stein. "I'm visiting Princeton (who's offered previously) on January 5th."
Stein is coming off a big senior year on both sides of the ball, and Navy has recognized his versatility.
"Navy is recruiting me as an athlete because they know I've played a lot of different positions," said Stein. "They said they just want to get me on the field and then they'll decide if they want me as a linebacker or a safety or a receiver."
Stein's senior season saw him earn all-league first team honors, all-Santa Barbara County and Team MVP honors.
Defensively, Stein had 118 tackles, nine sacks and two fumble recoveries. Offensively, he had 38 catches for 662 yards and four touchdowns.
