South Pasadena (Calif.) quarterback Jonathan Troast used a solid summer camp circuit to have a big senior season.
Troast led the Rio Hondo League in passing with 1,696 yards and 12 touchdowns and earned all-Rio Hondo League honors. In a league known for its ground game, Troast's passing yards were the highest in the league since 2003.
He also handled the punting duties for South Pasadena, ranking fifth in the state statistically after he averaged 43.1 yards a punt (with 11 of his 36 landing inside the 20).
