Tyler Polumbus, an offensive tackle prospect from Colorado, decides to stay home and play for the Buffloes. He committed to Colorado over Nebraska and Arizona.

The Colorado Buffaloes received a verbal commitment tonight from Tyler Polumbus. Polumbus, 6-8 and 240 pounds, plays for Englewood (Col.) Cherry Creek High School.

“I committed to Colorado tonight,” said Polumbus. "It was just the right choice for me. I almost committed to them (CU) after my junior year, but I wanted to play the process and see how things went. The staff has already said that I am going to redshirt and that is fine with me. That's what I want to do."

Polumbus took official visits to Nebraska (10-5), Arizona (9-28) and Colorado (10-19).

"I made it tougher on myself than I needed it to be. CU is the place where I wanted to go from the get go but I took some visits and went through the process. That just confused me. But visiting the other places just reminded me how much I love Boulder. Now I can fulfill my dream."

Polumbus has started on his offensive line for the last three seasons. As a sophomore and junior, he played offensive guard. This season, he has played tackle.
