Page Talks Top Five and Visits
Like many of the other players in Orlando for the Under Armour All-American game, Kenneth Page has had an enjoyable week. The 6'3, 290-lb offensive lineman from Columbia, SC has gotten an opportunity to put his skills to the test against some of the nation's best defensive linemen. "It has been a great week, it is a lot of fun and there is great competition," Page said, "Omar Hunter has been the toughest guy to go up against," he continued, "he's the truth!" Page has played tackle in high school, but is a guard this week and schools have been recruiting him at both spots. There is also at least some chance he will be seeing Hunter again as two of his final five are SEC schools. "I'm down to South Carolina, North Carolina, Clemson, Tennessee and Notre Dame," he reported, "I'm visiting Clemson on January 11 and North Carolina on the 18th." The Fighting Irish are the farthest away from the Columbia, but Page says a lot of elements make the distance to South Bend a possible non-factor. "I don't want to go to far, but if I was going to, Notre Dame would be the one place where I think it would be worth it. They had a down year, but it is still Notre Dame and they have great academics and tradition." Soon after his last visit on the 18th, Page will know where he will spend his college days. He also knows that it won't be any one factor that decides it. "I'm looking a lot of different things, academics and the coaches, but it will just be what is the best fit for me."
